This eagerly anticipated Japanese cultural phenomenon is now heading across the pond, as the videogame YO-KAI WATCH® makes its European and South African debut on 29th April 2016.

    Exclusively developed for Nintendo 3DS family systems by legendary Japanese video game developer LEVEL-5, Inc., creators of such hit franchises as Professor Layton and Inazuma Eleven, YO-KAI WATCH® will immerse players in the detailed town of Springdale, with its shops, parks, bustling city streets, and serene forests, as they investigate, seek out and befriend mysterious Yo-kai that are causing all sorts of mischief for the local residents. A franchise about hundreds of sometimes cute, sometimes spooky, and usually mischievous Yo-kai that secretly inhabit our world, YO-KAI WATCH® blends charming characters, hundreds of quests, and a unique and involving battle system to offer a uniquely fun experience for all.

    With over 10 million units in the series shipped to date, YO-KAI WATCH® for Nintendo 3DS family systems will soon be joined by the highly anticipated animated comedy series, coming to Cartoon Network on 23rd April, and fun toy range as part of a wider entertainment blitz in 2016. South African fans eager to get a taste of what lies ahead can do so by downloading a playable YO-KAI WATCH® demo* that is now available on Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS family systems.
