    Nintendo’s WiiWare service offers over 130 exciting and varied games for download directly to your Wii console at the simple press of a button, with more being added weekly. But did you know there are several new games that are aimed specifically at younger children? Intended to be both entertaining and educational for little ones, these titles encourage parents and children to share a stimulating and interactive experience together. Read on for more details about Miffy’s World, Learning with the Pooyoos Episode 1 and PictureBook Games: A Pop-Up Adventure.

    Miffy’s World
    Come and join the fun with Miffy, one of the most recognisable rabbits in the world! Created in an inimitable art style by renowned artist Dick Bruna, the WiiWare game “Miffy’s World” retains the very style and essence of the books and TV programmes that have made Miffy so popular with children everywhere. Parents and children can enjoy exploring Miffy’s World with the aid of the Wii Remote and take part in solving puzzles, building jigsaws and painting and matching pairs.     Learning with the Pooyoos Episode 1
    Learning with the Pooyoos Episode 1, meanwhile, is an original creation by developers Lexis Numérique, available right now via WiiWare. Aimed at children aged 3 to 6, the software focuses on the visual appeal of cartoon characters for children and encourages them to interact with the game in a number of ways. Dancing, singing and playing games offer entertainment that is educational as well as fun and there are also two levels of difficulty to appeal to different age groups.     PictureBook Games: A Pop-Up Adventure!
    Finally, up to four players can get together to enjoy a fully-animated version of an exciting board game in PictureBook Games: A Pop-Up Adventure!
