Game Boy micro - Sound Problems

Troubleshooting:

  1. Make sure you are using only licensed accessories with your system. Unlicensed products are not fully compatible with Nintendo systems, and may not work correctly.
  2. If the problem is occuring with only one game, please use our Game Pak troubleshooting section.
  3. Try increasing the volume by adjusting the volume buttons, on the right-side of the Game Boy micro.
  4. If you are trying to use headphones, make the sure the headphone jack is firmly plugged all the way into the Game Boy micro's headphone port on the bottom of the system. The headphone jack should click into place. If you get sound through the speaker, but not headphones, try a different set of headphones. If both sets don't work, there may be a problem with the Game Boy micro itself, and a repair is necessary.
