  • Expiring product registration cards

    17/03/2009

Registering your Nintendo products via Club Nintendo earns you Stars that can be exchanged for exclusive goodies in our Stars Catalogue.

In the coming weeks, you will no longer be able to register certain Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance games, as the registration cards that came packaged with them are about to expire (games can be registered up to three and a half years after they first go on sale). If you try to register a GameCube or Game Boy Advance game after the registration card has expired, you will receive the message "Product code entered is invalid." If you receive this message when trying to register a new game, for example a Wii or Nintendo DS game, contact your Consumer Service Centre to find out if the game is still within its registration period.

The following list shows games with registration cards that will expire before the end of 2009, and the date on which the registration card will cease to be valid. Please note too, that after 22 March, the titles listed will be the only GameCube and Game Boy Advance games that can still be registered.

    • Odama (GameCube) - 31 March
    • Tales of Phantasia (Game Boy Advance) - 31 March
    • Polarium Advance (Game Boy Advance) - 7 April
    • Chibi-Robo! (GameCube) - 26 May
    • Final Fantasy IV (Game Boy Advance) – 2 June
    • Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team (Game Boy Advance) – 10 November
    • Naruto: Clash of Ninja European Version (GameCube) – 24 November
    • The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (GameCube) – 15 December
