Applies to DLink router: DGL-4300
By default, the network name (SSID) will appear as: DLink
How to access this router's settings:
- Access login by clicking: http://192.168.0.1
- Enter default* username: admin
- Enter default* password: (leave blank)
* If you have changed the router's default login settings you will need to enter the newer username and/or password. If you are unable to log in to the router, please call 1-800-255-3700.
Where to find and change your router's:
- WEP/WPA key access: In 'Wireless settings' on the 'Setup' tab example
- Network name (SSID): In 'Wireless settings' on the 'Setup' tab example
- TX Rate: In 'Advanced Wireless' on the 'Advanced' tab example
- Wireless Mode: In 'Wireless' on the 'Setup' page.
- SPI-Firewall: In 'Firewall' on the 'Advanced' page.
Important Notes:
DS
Change the "TX rate" setting to "2." This is usually located in the "advanced" section of your router settings, under "performance."
Wii
Disable "G-only" mode. This setting can be found under "Wireless" on the "Basic" page.
You will also need to disable your SPI-Firewall. This setting can be found under 'Firewall' on the 'Advanced' page.
