How to access this router's settings:

Access login by clicking: http://home or http://192.168.1.254
Enter default* username: (leave blank)
Enter default* password: "admin" or Default WEP or System key on sticker

* If you have changed the router's default login settings you will need to enter the newer username and/or password. If you are unable to log in to the router, please call 1-800-255-3700.

Where to find and change your router's:

WEP/WPA key: On the 'Home Network' page, 'Wireless Settings' example
Network name: On the 'Home Network' page, 'Wireless Settings' example
Authentication: On the 'Home Network' page, 'Wireless Settings' example
Default WEP key: On sticker by barcode (see Important Notes)

Important Notes:

SSID Information

2Wire SSIDs will typically be '2WireXXX.' Where the 'XXX' represents last three digits of the router's serial number.

If your router has WEP security turned on, you will need to change your WEP authentication type to 'WEP-Shared.' These settings can be found under 'Authentication Type' on the 'Home Network' page. Please note that changing this security setting will affect other wireless devices on your network. Your devices will need to be reconnected using the updated security settings.

Default WEP key

2Wire router's have a default WEP key listed on a sticker on the router, typically by the barcode. See the image below for an example:
