Errors While Connecting

A compatible access point is not in range
Ensure the Hotspot location does not require an internet browser
to setup an account, accept a use agreement, or enter a password
before accessing their Wi-Fi service. If the location requires
any of these items, you will not be able to connect to the
Nintendo WFC.
Move closer to the wireless router and attempt to connect again with the access point. You may want to ask the staff at the location where the signal is strongest.
Orientate the Nintendo DS so that your body or other objects (such as walls, plants, furniture, and other people) are not blocking the signal. Also, make sure there is no interference from wireless phones (cell phones are okay).
If the connection continues to fail, this Hotspot may have their router set up in a manner that is not compatible with Nintendo WFC. For help locating other Hotspots, click here.

Access point is busy
It's possible that the access point at that Hotspot location has reached
its maximum number of connections. Most access points support many devices
accessing the router at one time. Try again when the Hotspot location is
less busy, or try another Hotspot location. For help locating other
Hotspots, click

Settings Information is incorrect
If you are receiving a message that your setting information
is incorrect, you may be trying to connect to the Nintendo
Wi-Fi Connection before setting up a connection file in the
Nintendo WFC setup utility.
For help with setting up a connection file, click here.
It is also possible that the Hotspot location you are at is not compatible with the Nintendo WFC. Ensure the Hotspot location does not require an internet browser to setup an account, accept a use agreement, or enter a password before accessing their Wi-Fi service. If the location requires any of these items, you will not be able to connect to the Nintendo WFC.
