- Using Download Management, you can check the download status of software purchased from the Nintendo eShop and elsewhere.
- Downloads will continue in the background, even while playing games.
- If needed, you can open Download Management during gameplay and pause any downloads. Downloads will resume once you return to the Wii U Menu.
- Once a download is complete, you can install it through Download Management.
- Download Management also allows you view your SpotPass usage and disable SpotPass for any software titles which you have previously enabled SpotPass.

- Ensure no other users or applications are utilizing bandwidth on your network.
- Perform an Internet speed test to measure your available bandwidth.
- Resolve any issues with wireless interference.
Devices streaming content, downloading files, or performing other bandwidth intensive tasks may affect the speeds at which other devices can send and receive data over the Internet. Turn off any of devices or programs you may find running.

- Select "Download First."
- Only one download will occur at a time. Once the first download completes, the pending download queued directly after will start.
- If you have multiple downloads you wish to reorder, select "Download First" on the item you want to download last. Then, select "Download First" on the item you want to download second-to-last.
Continue this process until the item you want to download first is moved to the top of the queue.
