Nintendo DSi & Nintendo DSi XL - Getting Connected Online - At Home with a High-Speed Internet Connection and Wireless Router - Using WPS

Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)

If you have a WPS-compatible router, use the following steps to connect your Nintendo DSi/Nintendo DSi XL online:

Turn on your system and access your system settings by clicking on the wrench icon.

Scroll over to the third page, and select "Internet."

Now choose "Connection Settings."

Click on "Advanced Setup"

Choose one of the open connection files:

Now, choose W-Fi Protected Setup.

Depending on how you want to connect, select "Push Button Connection" or "PIN Connection"

Push Button Connection: Press and hold the WPS button on your WPS router until the wireless indicator LED blinks. It may take up to several minutes to complete.

Pin Connection: Take the randomly generated 8 digit PIN from your system and enter this into the WPS security section of your wireless router, then hit "Next" to finish the setup.
