- The speed of your connection depends on your location’s specific Wi-Fi network and the number of people accessing the network simultaneously. Ensure you are within an ideal range of an access point so the strongest possible signal is received.

- Hats or other Mii accessories unlocked in StreetPass Mii Plaza aren't appearing in the Mii Maker
Information:
- Items or accessories unlocked while playing StreetPass Mii Plaza are only usable in StreetPass Mii Plaza, and are not accessible from the Mii Maker.

- When purchasing Puzzle Pieces with Play Coins some are duplicates
Information:
The puzzle pieces purchased with Play Coins are randomly selected for any incomplete puzzle. There is no way to guarantee which piece will be purchased, and pieces may be duplicates of pieces already received.

- There is an offensive Mii character in the StreetPass Mii Plaza
What to do:
- From the HOME Menu select StreetPass Mii Plaza, and tap "Open."
- Using the Circle Pad or Directional Pad, select the Offensive Mii and press the A button.
- Select "Delete" and press the A button.
- Select "Delete" again and press the A button.
- Select "Delete" a final time, and press the A button.
- Select "Block" to prevent that user from being able to send further Mii characters.
- If "Don't Block" is selected future Mii characters from that creator may show up on your system via StreetPass Mii Plaza.

What to do:
- Check for compatible music file extensions (.mp3, .m4a, .mp4, .3gp)

- Make sure none of the music files are in the Nintendo 3DS folder on the SD card.
- Delete the picture file associated to the file's album.

Situation:
- The retail location for a specific coupon appearing in the Nintendo Zone Viewer is not honoring the coupon.
- A coupon that used to be in the Nintendo Zone Viewer is no longer appearing.
Important Note!
- Coupons are set and redeemed by the retail locations themselves, not by Nintendo.
What to do:
- Coupons can be viewed from any Nintendo Zone location. However, they can only be redeemed at the specific retailer that the coupon is for. (For example, a Best Buy coupon may appear while you are using the Nintendo Zone in a McDonald's, but you would need to go to a Best Buy to redeem the coupon.)
- Coupons are set by the retailer, and generally change at the beginning of each month. If a coupon is no longer appearing in the Nintendo Zone Viewer, that coupon has expired.
- To redeem a coupon, the cashier will need to scan the coupon's barcode during checkout. If the cashier is unfamiliar with the process, they will need to check with their store manager to verify the procedure.

Situation:
- The Nintendo 3DS is not automatically connecting at a Nintendo Zone.
What to do:
- Verify that the store is a Nintendo Zone location. Click here to find a Nintendo Zone location near you.
- Tap the blinking Nintendo Zone icon on the HOME Menu of your Nintendo 3DS system to view all of the content Nintendo Zone has to offer.
- Verify that the wireless switch on the side of the system is On. (A yellow light should appear next to it.)
- Make sure the system is within range of the wireless signal. The signal will not usually carry outside of the store location. (For Best Buy, move towards the videogame section of the store.)
- Verify that the system battery is charged. If the battery power is low, the system is less likely to be able to pick up the signal.
- There may be an issue with the service at your current location. Try again later, or try a different Nintendo Zone location.
Still Not Resolved:

Situation:
- The video is not recording in 3D
Important Notes!
- The inner camera is designed to only record in 2D.
- The depth slider is used to adjust the 3D effect when shooting video with the outer cameras.
What To Do:
- Only systems with menu version 3.0.0 or higher can record video in 3D. Make sure the system has been updated to the correct version. (How To)
- Check to ensure the 3D depth slider is pushed up. A small 3D square will appear in the top right corner if 3D is being used.
- Verify that the SD Card is inserted correctly. (How To)
- Check the lenses of the outer cameras for dust or dirt, and clean them if necessary. (How To)
- Do not point the cameras directly into strong light sources.
- Check Parental Controls to see if “Display of 3D Images” is restricted. (How To)
- If the image seems out of alignment, try calibrating the outer cameras. (How To)

- The PIN set when saving credit card information has been forgotten

Once deleted, credit card information cannot be recovered.
Information:
- The system will allow three attempts to enter the correct PIN for using the saved credit card information. After three failed attempts, the credit card information is deleted and must be completely re-entered the next time funds are added.
- Nintendo is unable to unlock or recover credit card information.

- The error message "This QR Code is not supported" is displayed when attempting to scan a QR Code

- Try scanning a test QR Code.

- If a vital portion of the QR Code is blurry, obscured, altered, or missing, the camera will not scan it.
- If more than one image or QR Code is inside the frame, the camera may not be able to scan accurately.
- If scanning a QR Code on a Nintendo 3DS Prepaid Card, try using the Activation Number to add funds if the QR Code will not scan.
