Warranty Coverage (United States and Canada)

Nintendo systems carry a standard twelve-month warranty, which is one of the longest standard warranties in the video game industry. (The warranty for the Wii console and Nintendo DSi can be extended an extra 90 days by registering it online. Click here for more information.) Games and accessories sold separately carry a three month warranty. The warranty covers any manufacturing or workmanship defects and these will be repaired at no charge.

Please note: Nintendo's warranty does not cover physical damage (such as a cracked screen on a handheld unit, spilled liquid, or scratched game discs).

All hardware system warranties are verified through Nintendo's serial number tracking system at the time we receive the repair. If your system is NOT covered under warranty, Nintendo will not repair it without payment. You can use the Warranty Look-Up tool to see if your system is covered under warranty.
