    Can I Change the Country Setting in Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch?

    The country setting in Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch will always match the country/region setting for your Nintendo Account. If you need to change your Nintendo Account country/region setting, you will access Nintendo eShop for that country/region the next time you open the application on your Nintendo Switch console.


    • Your Nintendo eShop balance does not carry over when you change the country that your Nintendo Account is set to. You will need to use any remaining funds before you will be able to change the country.
    • If Nintendo eShop is available for your region, credit cards issued from your region may not work in a different region’s eShop. (For example, credit cards issued for the EU may only work in Nintendo eShop for Europe.)
