Get smitten with Mitten Decor Pikmin in the Pikmin Bloom holiday event

As the Northern Hemisphere approaches the depth of the winter, out come the gloves and scarves to help everyone stay warm during walks. The Pikmin ™ seem to have caught on to this trend, too! In the Pikmin Bloom app’s holiday event this year, you can welcome back the three existing types of Mitten Decor Pikmin who appeared last year–and another four new types!

As a special surprise, this holiday event will also feature Winter Sticker Decor Pikmin, who made their original appearance in December 2021.

Clear Event Challenge missions to obtain seedlings for Mitten Decor Pikmin

For every Event Challenge mission that you clear, you’ll be able to obtain in-app rewards at random. These can be Gingerbread Cookies, seedlings* that grow into Mitten Decor Pikmin, flower petals, or other items. Additionally, when the Big Flower at the center of the stage blooms, you’re guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling on top of the random rewards.

Collect Gingerbread Cookies to obtain special Mii™ character costumes

Once the event starts, you’ll receive missions (20 in total) requesting you to collect Gingerbread Cookies**. By clearing these missions, you’ll be able to obtain special Mii costumes and seedlings*** for Winter Sticker Decor Pikmin.

Here are the costumes you may be able to obtain through these missions:

Plus, starting of Dec. 6, seedlings found at Appliance Stores will grow not only into “Battery” Decor Pikmin, but also into Fairy Lights Decor Pikmin! Find their seedlings and grow them to add a touch of light to your squad.

*Seedlings obtained through clearing Event Challenge missions will grow into either Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple, White, Winged or Rock Mitten Decor Pikmin. Please note that you’ll meet them at random and are not guaranteed to complete the whole set.

**Gingerbread Cookies can be obtained from flower planting, clearing Event Challenges, Mystery Boxes, as a bonus with the purchase of an Event Premium Pass, and from the Event Challenge Special Pack.

Planting 100 flowers awards 1 Gingerbread Cookie. The total number of Gingerbread Cookies obtained while flower planting will be displayed in the results screen.

***The seedlings obtained from clearing these missions grow into Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple, White, Winged or Rock Winter Sticker Decor Pikmin at random. Please note that there’s no guarantee that you’ll complete the whole set. Please also note that Winter Sticker Decor Pikmin appear under the “Roadside” category in your Decor Pikmin Collection.

Note: Once the Holiday Event ends, the Gingerbread Cookie missions will disappear. Please note that the Gingerbread Cookies have no purpose outside of this event.
