You are cordially invited to jingle all the way to the finish line in the Mario Kart™ 8 Deluxe Open December 2023 tournament from Dec. 26 to Dec. 28. This three-day open tournament will run from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. PT each day—with 2,500 My Nintendo™ Gold Points up for grabs for the top eight players!

The December 2023 Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Open will use the following rules:
Mode: 150cc Race
Teams: No Teams
Items: Normal Items
COM: Normal COM
Vehicles: All Vehicles
Smart Steering: No
Frequency: Fixed Period
Race Count: 24 Races
Group Shuffling: Every 4th Match
Player Rating: Any
Public/Private: Code Required
How to register: To enter, you must participate in the Tournament in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game during the Tournament Period. To access the Tournament, select the following, in order, within the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game: Online Play, Tournaments, Search by Code. Enter the following code to enter the in-game tournament.

The top 8 players each day will get 2,500 My Nintendo Gold Points.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Open to legal residents of the US and Canada who are age 13+ and Mexico who are age 18+ and have access to a Nintendo Switch system, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game, reliable high-speed internet connection, and any Nintendo Switch Online membership. Tournament begins at 12:00 PM PT on 12/26/2023 and ends at 6:00 PM PT on 12/28/23. To participate, players must enter the specified Online Tournament in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game during the Tournament Period and enter the code specified in the Official Rules for that Tournament Day. Winners will be determined on or around 1/2/24. There will be 8 winners each Tournament Day, selected based on the number of points accumulated in up to 24 races during that Tournament Day. Each winner will each receive 2,500 My Nintendo Gold Points (ARV $25 USD each). Total prize ARV $600 USD. A Nintendo Account is required to receive and redeem points.
