You'll get all kinds of items as you race. Make opponents spin by throwing shells... Dash ahead using mushrooms... Use your items wisely to turn the tide!

On the walls or on the ceiling... It's a dead heat everywhere! Along the track there may be anti-gravity areas where you can drive on the walls and ceiling! And bumping into rivals in anti-gravity areas gives you a short boost from the recoil.

Link from The Legend of Zelda and Isabelle from Animal Crossing, along with first-time deluxe racers Inkling Boy and Inkling Girl from Splatoon are just a few of the faces joining the race in classes ranging from light to heavyweight.

in a Grand Prix anytime, anywhere.
Choose from 2 Cups to begin with.
Finish in the top 3 to open
new tournaments!
Complete 3 laps alone on the track
and aim to beat the record time.
When you do,
you'll get a ghost running your course.
You can also race worldwide against
other players' ghosts
over the Internet.
Decide which items show up,
set the engine class between 50 cc and 200 cc,
or make any other changes to the rules you like,
then play against friends and family in a 1-on-1 race.
Burst your rivals' balloons
by bumping into them or by using items.
Deluxe now has its own special arenas!
And new rules have been added to
