Pokémon HOME can now be linked with more Pokémon games!
Looking to add to your collection? The Pokémon™ HOME application was just updated to version 2.0.0 and can now link with the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus games. This means that you’ll be able to deposit and withdraw Pokémon to and from each of these games. So, to use a Pikachu-centric example, you can now take a Pikachu you caught in Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield into Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, or Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Please note that the Pokémon that you can take to each game are limited to Pokémon that appear in those games. There may also be some restrictions on what kind of moves a transferred Pokémon can learn/retain.
Link your games to claim special Pokémon
To celebrate Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus becoming compatible with Pokémon HOME, you will be gifted special Pokémon when you link each game to Pokémon HOME!
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl connectivity
If you deposit a Pokémon from Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Pokémon Shining Pearl into the Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon HOME, you will receive Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup with Hidden Abilities as a Mystery Gift in the mobile device version of Pokémon HOME.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus connectivity
If you deposit a Pokémon from Pokémon Legends: Arceus into the Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon HOME, you will receive Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott with maximum effort levels as a Mystery Gift in the mobile device version of Pokémon HOME.
Important Note: You may have already noticed, but Mystery Gifts in Pokémon HOME are only available on the mobile device version. To prepare, please make sure that the Nintendo Switch version and the mobile device version of Pokémon HOME are linked.
Additional features in Version 2.0.0
Alongside the new compatibility, you can also expect to these additions:
• The Pokédex from each compatible game will be displayed in addition to the National Pokédex.
• Newly added stickers and achievements based on Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus have been added to Pokémon HOME.
