Appearance of animals that have adapted to the land of extreme cold

Animals thriving in the severe environment of Hebra with extremely cold temperatures, have undergone peculiar evolution.
White Pigeon, white as snow, Snowcoat Fox, with beautiful blue hair, and Cold-Footed Wolf, with a bluish tone - perhaps they have colours similar to snow or ice, so that they can hide from their predators.

Tabantha Moose, originally from Tabantha, and Great-Horned Rhinoceros, adapted to snowy mountains, among others, might attack you using their impressive horns as weapons, so you have to be careful when watching them.
In Tabantha Tundra and Sturnida Secret Hot Spring, the fearsome predator, the Grizzlemaw Bear, has been sighted.

If you dress too lightly…

Selmie, resident of Mt. Hebra:

Recommended warm outfit

Our recommended outfit is the Rito Feather Shirt, made by the Rito for Hyrulians visiting Hebra. It's excellent at keeping in warmth, packed with plenty of down feather shed by the Rito.

Warm yourself from the inside
with food and medicine

The safest way to fight the cold is to wrap up warm. However, even if you are underequipped, you can withstand the cold for a while with medicine or food that warms you up when you eat it.
