Nintendo Live 2023 Ticket Registration TERMS & CONDITIONS

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Void where prohibited.

These are the Terms & Conditions to register for a chance to receive tickets to attend Nintendo Live 2023, being held in Seattle, WA (“Event”), from September 1 to September 4, 2023. Tickets to the Event will be provided through a free-to-enter, randomly selected drawing (“Drawing”).

Eligibility: Registration for this Drawing is available only to individuals who are at least 18 years old, are residents of the 50 United States and have a Nintendo Account.

How to Register: Registration begins on May 31, 2023 at 9:00AM PT and ends on June 22, 2023 at 11:59PM PT. Limit one registration per person. To register, you must (1) have a Nintendo Account (if you do not have a Nintendo Account, you can register for one here: https://my.nintendo.com), (2) visit https://www.nintendo.com/nintendo-live/ (3) sign into your Nintendo Account, and (4) complete the registration form and register for the individual ticket drawing (“Individual Ticket Allotment”) for a chance to receive a Ticket or register for the family ticket drawing (“Family Ticket Allotment”) for a chance for up to 6 people from the same Nintendo Account Family group to receive tickets. To register for the Family Ticket Allotment, the person registering must list the Nintendo Accounts of the other potential Event attendees that are in their Nintendo Account Family group when registering. Those selected in the Drawing will be sent a physical Event badge to the U.S. address listed at the time of registration and a digital QR Code to the email address associated with the Nintendo Account that registered (collectively, “Ticket”). Chances of being selected to receive Tickets depend on the number of eligible individuals that are registered.

All potential Event attendees ages 7 years old to 18 years old (or under the legal age of majority in the player’s jurisdiction of residence) (“Minor”) must have a Nintendo Account and be part of the same Nintendo Account Family group as the person registering (if you do not have a Nintendo Account Family group, you can create one here:https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/22324). All Minors attending the Event must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian that have received a Ticket in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. Children ages 6 and under do not need a Nintendo Account or Ticket to attend the Event and they may attend the Event with their parent or guardian that has received a Ticket. Attendees that bring any Minors to the Event represent and warrant that they are the parent or legal guardian of such Minor(s).


Attendee Selection: On or around June 23, 2023 a random drawing will take place at Nintendo headquarters in Redmond, Washington, to select the Nintendo Accounts that will be provided with Tickets from all eligible registrations for the Drawing. At least 4,000 Nintendo Account holders will receive tickets to attend one day of the Event through the Individual Ticket Allotment (1,000 Tickets for each day of the Event.). At least 16,000 Nintendo Account holders will receive tickets to attend one day of the Event through the Family Ticket Allotment (4,000 Tickets for each day of the Event.).

No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) will be permitted for any Tickets. Tickets have no cash value and may not be transferred or sold to any other person. Limit one registration per Nintendo Account. Tickets are distributed "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied. TRAVEL TO AND FROM THE EVENT AND ALL FEDERAL, STATE, PROVINCIAL AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF TICKETS ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE TICKET RECIPIENT.

Registrant’s Personal Information: Information collected from US residents is subject to Nintendo’s privacy policy at https://www.nintendo.com/privacy-policy. Information collected from Canadian residents is subject to Nintendo’s privacy policy at https://www.nintendo.com/en_CA/privacy-policy/. By registering for the Drawing, you also acknowledge and agree that if you are selected to attend the Event, then as required by applicable law, your personal information may be shared with regulators or as otherwise required by the law, including, without limitation, your legal name, contact information, and address.

Additional Terms: By registering for the Drawing and/or attending the Event you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the Nintendo of America Community Guidelines (https://www.nintendo.com/code-of-conduct/), and all other terms, conditions, rules and policies that are presented to you at the time of registration, or otherwise communicated to you by Nintendo, PAX West management, or the Event venue (collectively, “Event Rules”). These Terms and Conditions will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the State of Washington, USA, and is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws and is void where prohibited. Nintendo shall not be responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, damaged or misdirected registrations and accepts no responsibility for any injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from registration for or participation in the Event. Nintendo reserves the right to amend or make changes to these Terms and Conditions or to terminate this Event, and the decisions of Nintendo with respect to these Terms and Conditions are final and binding in all respects.

Tickets are required to be admitted into the Event. Maximum one Ticket per person. Tickets are a revocable license to attend the Event. As a condition of this license, attendees agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and other Event Rules. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of this license in Nintendo’s sole discretion without compensation. Nintendo is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged Tickets.

By entering the Event, attendees give Nintendo, and anyone authorized by Nintendo, irrevocable permission to: photograph and/or record attendees in connection with the attendee’s participation in and attendance at the Event; edit and modify any resulting photographs, recordings or other media or materials (the “Photographs and Recordings”); and use the Photographs and Recordings and attendee’s likeness, persona, voice and statements from the Photographs or Recordings in any manner or media indefinitely in connection with the commercial, promotional, industry and/or internal purposes of Nintendo, its affiliates and promotional partners, without any compensation the attendee.

Any delay or failure of Nintendo to perform its obligations under these Terms and Conditions, including, without limitation, with respect to distribution of the Ticket(s), shall be excused to the extent that such delay or failure is caused by an event or occurrence beyond Nintendo’s reasonable control, including, without limitation, acts of God, actions by governmental authorities, fires, floods, storms, earthquakes, inclement weather, pandemic, natural disasters, riots, wars, terrorism, or labor disputes.

By registering for the Drawing and/or attending the Event, you assume all risks occurring before, during, and after the Event, and release Nintendo, its parent company, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Event or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use the Ticket(s) (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, whether intentional or unintentional), and any claims relating to use of the Photographs and Recordings as authorized herein, whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.

Attendees consent to reasonable search of all items carried onto the premises. Attendees must not bring the following items into the Venue: weapons, markers, skateboards, lighters, controlled substances, large containers, gum, stickers, recording devices (excluding cell phones and any recording devices possessed by authorized media), food or beverages, other than empty plastic sports bottles or medically necessary items. All prop weapons must be submitted to Event security for inspection and approval prior to entering the Venue. Prop weapons are only permitted onto the premises if approved by Event security. Nintendo reserves the right to limit backpacks, large bags, prop weapons and similar items.
