Nintendo Switch Online: Freshen up your profile pic with the icon maker!
Looking to show off your style? We’d like to highlight one of the fashionable perks of having a Nintendo Switch Online membership*: the icon maker! If you haven’t tried it yet, here’s how it works.
Step 1: Head over to Nintendo Switch Online on the HOME Menu (it’s the red icon on the far left of the menu) on your system. Once you’re there, select the Missions & Rewards tab to see which elements and missions are available.
Step 2: Redeem your My Nintendo™ Platinum Points** to get icon elements (a.k.a. characters, backgrounds, and frames).
Step 3: Put those elements together to make your own profile icon. All of your icons and icon elements can be accessed by going to the Icon Collection at the top right of the page.
Step 4: Bask in your personalized masterpiece.
Note that completing missions will get you more Platinum Points which can then be redeemed for more icon elements. If you browse the selection of elements right now, you may see some popular ones that debuted earlier this year. This specific collection elements will rotate until Jan. 7 at 4:59 p.m. PT so keep checking each day to see what’s available.
