Nintendo GameCube AV to TV
Hookup

- Locate the audio/video INPUT jacks on the TV.
(Audio/video Input jacks are also known as RCA JACKS.)
- Place the Yellow (Video) cable into the Video IN on the
back of the TV. Connect the Red (Audio Right) cable to Audio IN Right. Connect
the White (Audio Left) cable to the Audio IN Left.
Note: If you
have a television with only one Audio input, check the diagram of how the hook-up will look. The Y-adapter
pictured is optional; you can also simply leave the white cable disconnected
instead.
- Connect the Rectangular (Gray) plug of the Stereo AV
Cable into the Analog AV Out port on the back of the Control Deck.
- Make sure the system has space around side vents. Make
sure the power button is in the OFF position (button is not pressed-in).
- Plug the AC Adapter into the back of the system into the
DC 12V In port (fits only one way). Plug the other end into a wall outlet.
- Hook up the controller(s) starting from the far-left port
on the front of the GCN.
- Press the Open button to open the Disc Cover. Insert a
Game Disc, printed side up, into the compartment and on the center hub. Press
down gently on the Game Disc until it locks on the center hub.
- Close the Disc Cover.
- Press the Power button on the Nintendo GameCube and check
that the power light comes on. Turn on the TV and locate the
input select. It's often
called: input select, AUX (auxiliary), Line, Line In, Input, Source, Select,
In, or EXT (external).
The Nintendo GameCube logo should appear on the screen,
followed by the game's main menu. If after following these directions
completely you are not able to view the game, try our
