Wii U GamePad Freezes

Situation:

• The Wii U GamePad screen goes blank, or it freezes while playing games.

What to Do:

• Reset the Wii U GamePad by performing the following:

  1. Press the hold the power button until the Wii U GamePad powers off.

  2. If the AC adapter is plugged into the Wii U GamePad, unplug it.

  3. Wait 30 seconds.

  4. Power the Wii U GamePad back on and see if the issue has been resolved.

• General system stability can be improved by applying the current system update. Try applying the latest system update and see if the issue has been resolved.
