When I entered my credit card information for an order, a message was displayed saying that card may not be used. What should I do?

My Nintendo Store accepts the following credit cards:
• VISA
• MasterCard

If you are using a credit card that is accepted by My Nintendo Store, but you are still getting a message that says you cannot use it, please contact your credit card company.
Note: Only cards with security codes are accepted.

It is also possible that the network service is undergoing maintenance or some sort of outage. If maintenance or an outage is currently occurring, please wait until the service is restored.
