The Nintendo Switch 2 Screen Colors Are Inverted or Are Displaying in Grayscale

The information in this article can help you when:

  • The Nintendo Switch 2 screen colors are displayed in unusual or unexpected colors, or no colors at all (black and white or grayscale).

  • The User icons are displayed in unusual colors.

What to do

If the screen colors are inverted or in grayscale, it is possible that the "Change Display Colors" setting was activated:

  1. From the HOME Menu select System Setting.

  2. Scroll down to Accessibility.

  3. In the Accessibility options, scroll down and select Change Display Colors.

  4. Select Default to return to the default display colors.
