Refund for Downloaded Game or DLC (Change of Mind, Accidental Purchase, Didn’t Like Game/DLC)
The information in this article can help you when looking to request a refund for digital content purchased through the Nintendo eShop in Australia or New Zealand.
We cannot provide a refund (or credit or exchange) if you simply changed your mind, accidentally made the purchase or purchased the wrong contents, or if you simply didn’t like the game or DLC. Therefore, please note the following:

Parental Controls can be set on Nintendo systems that allow parents to set restrictions on Nintendo eShop purchases, if applicable.

We can provide a remedy if the game or DLC fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law in Australia or the Consumer Guarantees Act in New Zealand. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
