R or L Stick Is Stuck or Difficult to Move on a Wii U GamePad

Situation:

• The R or L Stick is stuck or will no longer move.

• The R or L Stick very difficult to move, or makes a grinding noise when pressed.

What to do:

• Clean the R or L Stick.

If the R or L Stick is still stuck or difficult to move once this has been completed please contact Nintendo Consumer Support.
