Compatibility
Which wireless routers are compatible?
Nintendo Switch 2 consoles are compatible with most wireless routers. Supported wireless standards are: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax.
Which wireless security types are supported?
Nintendo Switch 2 consoles support WPA-PSK(AES), WPA2-PSK(AES), WPA3-SAE(AES). WEP is not supported.
Is 5GHz Wi-Fi supported?
Yes, Nintendo Switch 2 consoles support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi.
How do I use a wired connection?
The Nintendo Switch 2 dock comes with a LAN port built in.
