Message Displays for HDR Output on Nintendo Switch 2
Help for when the following messages display when "TV HDR Output" is set to Always ON or Only for Supported Software.
The connected TV either doesn't support HDR or HDR support is turned off. Check the TV's settings.
HDR output may need to be adjusted for each TV. Once connected to a TV that supports HDR output, select the Adjust HDR option.

This issue usually occurs when:
The TV does not support HDR.
HDR is turned off in the TV settings.
HDR is turned off in the settings for the HDMI port on the TV that the Nintendo Switch 2 dock is connected to.
You are trying to use HDR when not in TV mode.
Possible solutions
Place your Nintendo Switch 2 console into the dock before changing the HDR Output settings.
Check the TV's setting and the HDMI port being used to confirm that they support HDR.
