Joy-Con 2 Mouse Controls
Information about using mouse controls with Joy-Con 2 controllers on Nintendo Switch 2.
A Joy-Con 2 controller can be used as a mouse on the HOME Menu of the Nintendo Switch 2 console or in software compatible with mouse controls.
Always attach a Joy-Con 2 strap to each controller before using mouse controls. See How to Attach/Detach and Wear the Joy-Con 2 Strap for guidance.
You can use one or two Joy-Con 2 controllers on a table or other, similarly flat surfaces.
Mouse controls may not work depending on the surface you are using, such as a glass table or a table that reflects a lot of light.
Depending on the material or fabric the surface is made of, the sensor may not respond properly and mouse controls may not work well. Note, rubbing a Joy-Con 2 on some fabrics may cause the colour to fade.
If you are using mouse controls on your lap or another uneven surface, interference can occur. If it does, please try using a flat surface with no obstructions between the controllers and the console.
