How to Update the Nintendo Switch 2 Dock Firmware

How to steps to update the firmware on the Nintendo Switch 2 dock.

Before you start

You will need:

• Your Nintendo Switch 2 console

• Your Nintendo Switch 2 dock

• An internet connection

Your console will need to be docked in order to complete the firmware update.

Complete these steps

1. Confirm your console has the latest system update.

2. Return to System in "System Settings."

   • If you're starting on the HOME Menu, select System Settings.

   • Select System.

3. Select Dock Update.

   • If the dock is up to date, a popup message will appear. Select OK to close the message.

4. Select Begin Update to begin updating the dock’s firmware.

   • If the update stops before it can be completed, try this step again.
