How to Start a Multiplayer Race in Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit

In this article, you’ll learn how to start a multiplayer race in Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit.

Important

  • Each player must have their own Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite system and a kart from the Mario Set or Luigi Set.

  • For the best multiplayer experience, players should sit near each other so that their Nintendo Switch systems can communicate without interference.

In Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit up to four players can race together in Grand Prix or Custom Races.

Complete these steps

  1. Make sure each player’s kart is charged and synced to their own Nintendo Switch system.

  2. Select which player will host the race. The other player(s) will join the host’s world.

    • Whether a host or a guest, each player has an opportunity to collect coins in Grand Prix races to unlock items in their game.

Will you be the host or guest?
