How to Create a Suspend Point

An active Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to use this service.
Important:
If using two-player with NES - Nintendo Switch Online games, player one will be the one navigating the menu and making the desired selections.
Complete These Steps:
While in a game from the NES – Nintendo Switch Online library, press buttons ZL+ZR* to open the Suspend Menu, then select “Create Suspend Point.”
Select an available save slot where to store your game progress.
Once saved, the selected slot will display the timestamp of when the Suspend Point was created.
If all four save slots have been taken up, you can save your new game progress over an existing Suspend Point. Keep in mind that once save data has been overwritten, it cannot be recovered.
* The button layout may vary if the Joy-Con are being used horizontally as individual controllers in Tabletop or TV mode.
