How to Change the Parental Controls PIN for Nintendo Switch 2
Follow these steps to change the Parental Controls PIN for a Nintendo Switch 2 console.

Is your Nintendo Switch 2 console linked to the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app on a smart device?
Note: While the Nintendo Switch 2 console is linked to the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app on a smart device, the PIN can only be changed through the smart device app.
Open the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app on your iOS or Android device.
If you don’t have access to the app, unlink the app from your console. This will remove the parental controls.
Select Parental Controls in the lower-right corner. If you have more than one Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch console linked to the app, tap the menu icon in the upper-left corner to choose the correct console.
Select Parental-Controls PIN.
Next to the current PIN, tap Change.
Enter the new 4-8 digit PIN that you want to set, then tap Confirm.
In the lower-right corner, tap Save.
The new PIN will be set as soon as the Nintendo Switch console connects online.
Select System Settings on the HOME Menu.
Scroll down to Parental Controls.
Select Change Settings.
If your options are "Sync with Nintendo Switch Parental Controls App" and "Unlink App" this means your console is already linked to the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app. If you don’t have access to the app, unlink the app from your console. This will remove the parental controls.
Only option is "Set Up Parental Controls" This means your console does not have parental controls set up currently. To learn more about setting parental controls, please see How to Set Up, Adjust, or Remove Parental Controls on Nintendo Switch 2.
Enter the Parental Controls PIN for the console.
Forgot the Parental Controls PIN
Select Change PIN.
Enter the new 4-8 digit PIN that you want to set, then select OK.
Enter the PIN again to confirm.
