How to Access the Power Menu (Turn Off, Restart, Sleep Mode) on a Nintendo Switch 2 console

Follow these steps on a Nintendo Switch 2 console to turn it off, restart it or put it into Sleep Mode.

Complete these steps

  • Press and hold the POWER Button for at least three seconds to access the Power Menu.

  • Select Power Options.

  • Select Sleep Mode, Restart, or Turn Off.

    • Important: After ten seconds of inactivity while the Power Menu is being displayed, the console will enter Sleep Mode.

  • To exit the Power Menu, press the B Button or the HOME Button.
