Information for when you receive error code 2206-1014 or 2206-1015 while trying to perform a system update.

We are aware of an issue with receiving Error Code: 2206-1014 or 2206-1015 during or after installing system version 20.0.0. If you are experiencing this issue, please follow the steps below.

What to do

  1. Power off the console.

  2. With the console powered off, hold down the volume up (+) and volume down (-) buttons, then press the POWER Button to turn the console on.

    • Keep the volume buttons pressed down until the recovery mode menu is displayed.

  3. Once in recovery Mode, select Update System and follow the prompts to complete this process.

    • If a Parental Control PIN has been set for the system, you will be prompted to enter it. If you have forgotten the PIN number, it will need to be reset.
