Bluetooth Audio Device Repeatedly Connects/Disconnects from Nintendo Switch 2
Steps for when a Bluetooth audio device you have paired to your Nintendo Switch 2 console repeatedly disconnects and reconnects during use.
What to do
Confirm your console is on the latest system version.
How to check for the latest system update
Select System Settings on the HOME Menu.
Scroll down to the bottom of the System Settings menu and select System.
Select System Update to start the system update process.
The system will check to see if an update is available.

Restart the console.
How to restart a Nintendo Switch 2 console
Press and hold the POWER Button for at least three seconds.
Select Power Options.
Select Restart.
Power off your Bluetooth audio device and then power it on again.
Confirm your Bluetooth audio device is sufficiently charged.
Make sure you are not using local wireless features on the Nintendo Switch system, such as local multiplayer across multiple systems. Bluetooth audio cannot be used at the same time as local wireless.
Confirm that no more than two wireless controllers are paired to the system. Up to two wireless controllers can be paired while using a Bluetooth audio device.
Move your Bluetooth audio device closer to your console and ensure there is no metal or electronic equipment between the audio device and the system or surrounding the system.
Remove the device from the console so it can be paired again.
How to remove a saved Bluetooth audio device from Nintendo Switch 2
Select System Settings from the HOME Menu.
Select Bluetooth Audio.
Select the problematic device from the list of saved devices.
Select Remove Device and press the A Button.
Pair the device again.
How to pair a Bluetooth audio device to Nintendo Switch 2
Follow the instructions for your specific Bluetooth audio device to put it into pairing mode.
On your console, return to the Bluetooth Audio menu.
Select System Settings from the HOME Menu.
Select Bluetooth Audio.
Select Pair Device.
Select your device’s name when it is found.
Continue playing to see if the issue is resolved.
The issue persists
Pair a different Bluetooth audio device and determine if the issue still occurs.
Situation not resolved
The issue occurs with the original Bluetooth audio device
