Splatoon 3: The next Splatfest has some apocalyptic ambitions…

Greetings, fellow researchers! The Squid Research Lab has been positively bustling with activity, so please excuse the mess. I haven’t even had time to check what the next Splatfest* theme is, so let’s see what it’s all about together.

I know I have that file here…uh, it’s somewhere…ah, here we go!

Oh. Oh my.

Um, let’s put a pin in that for now! If you’re unfamiliar with the term, Splatfests are a special time in the Splatoon 3 game. During these events, brainy debates are settled through the inkiness of competitive battle. The question this time is (gulp):

What would you do at the world’s end? Will you be unfazed as you do the same ol’? Will you try to cross off things from your bucket list? Or will you try to figure out a way to save the day?

My, what a conundrum! Obviously, this is hypothetical and does not mean the world is ending any time soon!

(Right? Right?!)

Ahem. This Splatfest will take place Saturday, 18th May at 10 a.m. to Monday, 20th May at 10 a.m. AEST. You can pick your side in the game right now, but you’ll need to wait until the event time to battle it out.

One last thing…

If you’re looking for more single-player content, the Side Order DLC** for Splatoon 3 is out now! From what we gather, it seems to be a new adventure designed to be played over and over. You can access it with the Splatoon 3: Expansion Pack.
