Ah, but that’s not all the new stuff. Let’s break out a handy little section for the next part.

WAVE 1 IS OUT NOW

If you’ve been (metaphorically) glued to your Splatoon 3 news feed, you may have already heard about the Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass – Inkopolis & Side Order DLC***. This paid DLC includes access to two waves of content, and the first is out right now!

Wave 1 is your ticket back to Inkopolis, the original hub city from the original Splatoon game. You’ll meet some familiar faces, see some familiar sights, and be able to catch a Squid Sisters concert during Splatfests. Wave 2 will add a new single-player campaign called Side Order…but you’ll learn more about that one a bit later!

Purchasers will also receive immediate access to ‘Battle-boosting bonuses,’ which includes additional in-game currency and food/drink tickets.

Good luck out there, Inklings and Octolings.

*Fun fact: “Paralarvae” is a term that describes newly hatched squids or octopuses. Betcha weren’t expecting a science fact today.
