The results are in, squiddos! The clout is tallied, the numbers are crunched, and a winner is crowned for the latest Splatfest* in-game event in the Splatoon™ 3 game.

Congratulations to Team Ghost on the win!

The theme for this event was ‘Who do you think would be the best friend?’ with Zombie, Skeleton, and Ghost splatting it out for the win.

Remember Splatoween-themed gear are available!

To get yours, open ‘News’ on your Nintendo Switch system, then launch the Splatoon 3 game via the Squid Research Lab article. After that, visit the in-game lobby to collect your stuff!

So, uh, what’s a Splatfest?

Splatfests are special in-game events in Splatoon 3. They’re a time to experience a festive atmosphere while you give your opinion on themes that spark great debate and then fight for your side.

What changes during a Splatfest?

A bunch of stuff does! In addition to how Splatsville looks and sounds, these Splatfest Battle types will replace the normal ones: Open, Pro, and (halfway through the event) Tricolor. In ‘Open’, you can enter a match with a group of friends. Pick ‘Pro’ if you’re more of a solo player—everyone on the teams will be randomised.

What do you get for winning a Splatfest?

Everyone who participates will get Super Sea Snails after the Splatfest, with the winning side getting more. Talk to Murch who hangs outside the Lobby if you’re not sure what to do with those (the short version is that Super Sea Snails can be used as a shortcut to upgrade your gear and get abilities that match your needs better).
