Your base of operations will be Mossui Town, a communal hub where locals gather and shop among picturesque fields and rice paddies.

The Heroes of Kitakami

Three Pokémon named Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti appear. They are beloved by the people of the village as heroes that protected the land of Kitakami in the past, and stone statues were made in their likeness to express the people’s gratitude toward these three Pokémon.

New places, new Pokémon

At Kitakami Hall, villagers hold the Festival of Masks, a tradition that has been passed down for generations. A variety of stalls appear during this festival, selling everything from candy apples to yakisoba—children and adults alike can enjoy themselves at this event!

Familiar faces

You will be able to encounter familiar Pokémon that have been found living in other regions but which had not appeared in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.

Part 2: The Indigo Disk

The story of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero for Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet continues in Part 2: The Indigo Disk.

Study abroad at Blueberry Academy, where the curriculum emphasizes Pokémon Battling. Here, you’ll explore the undersea Terarium, a facility with artificial environments teeming with Pokémon. Each of the four areas of the Terarium has a distinct climate, ecosystem, and Pokémon to find.

Encounter the newly-discovered Legendary Pokémon Terapagos as you broaden your horizons beyond Naranja or Uva Academy.

Take on the Blueberry Academy’s Elite Four!

Blueberry Academy has its own Pokémon battling league called the Blueberry League—aka the BB League—where students battle each other and climb the ranks based on their skills.

You'll be able to take on the BB League Elite Four in the Terarium, where each biome is occupied by a different member of the BB League Elite Four.

A new Tera Type has been discovered!

In The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, a new Tera Type has been discovered—a nineteenth Tera Type.

Something about it seems different from the eighteen Tera Types we’ve seen before, but much is yet unknown. What is the truth behind this nineteenth Tera Type?

Familiar First Partner Pokémon return

First partner Pokémon from past titles in the core Pokémon series are appearing in spades in the Terarium housed within Blueberry Academy, the setting of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk.

The Terarium is a facility that re-creates a variety of biomes—from the tropics to icy seas—where many different Pokémon live and thrive in the environment best suited to them. You might even get the rare chance to see first partner Pokémon as they live in the wild.

Even more to discover!

New places, Pokémon, and outfits await!

Legendary Pokémon

Encounter the Legendary Pokémon Ogerpon and Terapagos in these brand-new stories.

New outfits

In Part 1: The Teal Mask, you’ll put on a traditional jinbei outfit and take part in the festival that’s held annually in the village. In Part 2: The Indigo Disk, you’ll don the uniform of Blueberry Academy as an exchange student and get a taste of student life at a new school.

If you purchase The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC*, you’ll be able to receive a New Uniform Set. You’ll be able to wear this outfit in the Pokémon Scarlet game, and also in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. The New Uniform Set includes uniforms for spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
