Become a legendary Samurai in ancient Japan, launching into chaotic battles against hundreds of enemies! Before each battle, power-up your weapons and armor and strategically plot a course to complete your mission objectives. With tales of revenge, political intrigue and romance, the Samurai Warriors 3 game asks you to defend your clan, family and most importantly, your honor.

  • Choose from over 35 legendary Samurai as you fight through hundreds of enemies both by foot and by horseback. Power-up dozens of weapons and armor with items you collect in the battlefield
  • In the “Murasame Castle” sub-mode, explore the mystery of Murasame Castle and its surrounding areas with another mystifying Samurai warrior! Inspired by a Japan-only Famicom game that Mr. Miyamoto helped create entitled “The Mysterious Murasame Castle”, this mode is a unique Wii collaboration between Nintendo and KoeiTecmo.
  • Become a part of history in Historical Mode! Learn the untold tales between the legendary Samurai through actual historical events in Japanese history
  • Create your own Samurai! Choose the color of your hair, armor and even a type of voice to use in Historical Mode and more
  • Combine your powers and sync your movements on the battlefield to knock out even more enemies with another Samurai in either local or online play over Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection

As of May 20, 2014, the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service for Nintendo DSi and Wii systems has been retired. Online features of this game are no longer available after this date but this game still provides an entertaining experience in offline mode.
