OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES.
This Contest is brought to you by Nintendo of Canada Ltd. (the "Contest Sponsor"). These Contest Rules
are available online at [www.nintendo.ca/vipparty] and will be available at each Tour Destination
indicated below during the Contest Entry Periods
The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. You
understand that any information you may provide is provided to the Contest Sponsor and not to
Facebook. The information you provide will only be used for the administration of this contest and in
accordance with the Contest Sponsor's Personal Information policy (see below). Facebook is completely
released of all liability by each entrant in this Contest. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding
the contest must be directed to the Contest Sponsor and not Facebook.
1. CONTEST PERIOD:
The Contest commences in Toronto on October 19, 2012, and ends in Vancouver on December 8, 2012.
Please see below the Contest Entry Period starting and closing dates at each Tour Destination (each is a
"Contest Entry Period"). Times and locations for each Tour Destination are available at
[www.nintendo.ca/vipparty]. All times indicated in these Contest Rules are the local times at the
applicable Tour Destination.

This Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their Province
or Territory of residence at the time of Contest entry. Employees, directors, officers and agents of the
Contest Sponsor and any of its affiliates (as defined in the Canada Business Corporations Act), and
employees, directors, officers and agents of its advertising and promotional agencies (the "Contest
Parties"), as well as family members of any of the foregoing or those with whom they are domiciled, are
not eligible to enter the Contest.
3. HOW TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
Obtain an Official Contest Entry Form ("Entry Form") at the Tour
Destination during the applicable Contest Entry Period. Complete all of the required fields of the Entry
Form including your first and last name, complete home address, telephone number and email address.
Each entrant must also correctly answer a mathematical skill‐testing question on the Entry Form, and be
able to attend a Wii U TRAILER-GATE Party the following day with up to nine (9) guests (see "Prizes")
Enter your Entry Form in the ballot box provided at each Tour Destination. Entries will only be accepted
during the Contest Period for each Tour Destination. Limit of one (1) Entry Form per person. Duplication
of entries may result in disqualification.
There are five (5) Prizes available to be won at each Tour Destination, consisting of an invitation for the
Prize winner and up to nine (9) guests to attend a Wii U VIP TRAILER-GATE Party from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
the following Sunday, with food and beverages, gaming activities, and a Goody Bag for each Prize winner
consisting of Nintendo products/gift cards, valued at approximately $100; and a gift for each guest
valued at approximately $25. Approximate retail value of each Prize: $770.
5. DRAW AND METHOD OF AWARDING PRIZES
At approximately 12:15 PM on the closing date of the Contest Entry Period for each Tour Destination, a
random draw will be conducted from all eligible entries received at that Tour Destination. Selected
entrants will be notified either in person, by email and/or telephone by approximately 1:00 PM that day.
The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to randomly select another entrant from the remaining eligible
entries: if a selected entrant cannot be reached or fails to respond to notification by the Contest
Sponsor by 4:00 PM on the closing date of the Contest Entry Period for the Tour Destination, is not in
compliance with these Contest Rules, or declines the Prize; if email correspondence between the
Contest Sponsor and the selected entrant is returned as undeliverable without a forwarding address; or
if the selected entrant fails to sign and provide a Release Form.
The Release Form (among other things): (a) confirms compliance with these Contest Rules; (b)
acknowledges acceptance of the Prize as awarded; (c) releases the Contest Parties and their successors
and assigns from any and all liability in connection with this Contest, the selected entrant's participation
therein and/or the awarding and use/misuse of the Prize or any portion thereof; and (d) agrees to the
use of certain Personal Information in connection with the Contest.
The Prize will be awarded upon receipt of the properly completed and executed Release Form and
verification of the Prize winner. Guests will be admitted to the Wii U VIP TRAILER-GATE Party upon receipt
of the properly completed and executed participant Release Form.
All Prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred, exchanged or substituted, whether
for cash or otherwise, except as expressly provided in these Contest Rules or at the Contest Sponsor's
sole discretion. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize or portion thereof with one
of at least equal value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised Prize(s)
or portion thereof.
6. PERSONAL INFORMATION
The Contest Sponsor and its authorized agents will only use and disclose personal information provided
on the Entry Form ("Personal Information") for the purposes of administering the Contest and Prize
fulfillment, unless you otherwise agree. If you receive a Prize, by accepting a Prize you agree to have
your photo taken at the TRAILER-GATE Party and agree that such photos are the property of the Contest
Sponsor. You consent to the use of such photos as well as your name and city/province of residence and
any of your statements about the Contest for promotional purposes.
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS
THE CONTEST SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION TO DISQUALIFY ANY ENTRANT
WHO IS FOUND TO BE TAMPERING WITH THE ENTRY PROCESS OR THE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST, TO
BE ACTING IN VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES, OR TO BE ACTING IN A MANNER THAT, IN
THE CONTEST SPONSOR'S SOLE DISCRETION, IS DISRUPTIVE OR UNDERMINING TO THE LEGITIMATE
OPERATION OF THE CONTEST, OR IS ANNOYING, ABUSIVE, THREATENING OR HARASSING TO ANY OTHER
PERSON, AND THE CONTEST SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES
FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT
TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF
CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE
RIGHT TO REPORT SUCH ACTION TO THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITIES FOR PROSECUTION AND/OR SEEK
DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
THE CONTEST PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: (A) ANY INCOMPLETE OR INACCURATE INFORMATION,
WHETHER CAUSED BY ANY EQUIPMENT OR COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH OR UTILIZED IN THE
CONTEST, OR BY ANY TECHNICAL OR HUMAN ERROR WHICH MAY OCCUR IN THE HANDLING OF
ENTRIES; (B) THE THEFT, LOSS, DESTRUCTION OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO, OR ALTERATION OF,
ENTRIES; (C) ANY FAILURE OF ANY E‐MAIL TO BE RECEIVED BY OR FROM THE CONTEST SPONSOR FOR
ANY REASON INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO TRAFFIC CONGESTION ON THE INTERNET OR AT ANY
WEBSITE OR COMBINATION THEREOF; D) ANY USE OF AN ENTRANT'S PERSONAL INFORMATION.
In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a Prize winner based on an email address, the winning
entry will be deemed to be made by the authorized account holder of the email address at time of entry.
"Authorized account holder" is the natural person who is assigned an email address by an internet
service provider, internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for
assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the email address in question.
This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations, and is void
where prohibited. By entering the Contest, you agree to be bound by these Official Contest Rules and by
the decisions of Contest Sponsor, which shall be final on all matters relating to this Contest. All entries
become the property of the Contest Sponsor and none will be returned. The Contest Sponsor reserves
the right to withdraw, terminate or modify this contest or any portion of this contest, or extend the
deadline of this contest, at any time without prior notice, subject to the approval of the Régie des
alcools, des courses et des jeux in respect of residents of Québec (where applicable). The Contest
Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, delayed, or misdirected entries.
8. FOR QUÉBEC RESIDENTS ONLY
Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the
Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize
may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
