By default, the network name (SSID) will appear as: Netgear
How to access this router's settings:
  1. Access login by clicking: http://192.168.0.1
  2. Enter default* username: admin
  3. Enter default* password: password
* If you have changed the router's default login settings you will need to enter the newer username and/or password. If you are unable to log in to the router, please call 1-800-255-3700.
Where to find and change your router's:
  • WEP/WPA key access: In 'Wireless Settings' under 'Setup' example
  • Network name (SSID): In 'Wireless Settings' under 'Setup' example
  • Channel settings: In 'Wireless Settings' under 'Setup' example
  • Trusted IP Settings: In 'Trusted IP' on the 'Block Sites' tab
Important Notes:

Wii

  • Our experience has shown that, in most cases, you will need to add the Wii Console's IP address to the router in order to connect successfully with this router. The IP address can be added under 'Trusted IP' on the 'Blocked Sites' tab.

  • Change the channel setting to 1 or 11. These settings can be found on the 'Setup' tab, under 'Wireless Settings.'
