By default, the network name (SSID) will appear as: Linksys
How to access this router's settings:
  1. Access login by clicking:
  2. Enter default* username: (leave blank)
  3. Enter default* password: admin
* If you have changed the router's default login settings you will need to enter the newer username and/or password. If you are unable to log in to the router, please call 1-800-255-3700.
Where to find and change your router's:
  • WEP/WPA key access: In 'Wireless Security' on 'Wireless' tab example
  • Network name (SSID): In 'Basic Wireless Settings' on 'Wireless' tab example
  • Transmission setting: On 'Wireless' tab, 'Advanced Wireless Settings' example
Important Notes:


  • Our experience has shown this router to possibly be incompatible with the Wii Console.
  • Wii and DS

  • Change the channel setting to 1 or 11. These settings can be found on the 'Wireless' tab, under 'Basic Wireless Settings.'
  • DS

  • Change the 'rate' to 1-2 mbps, and the TX rate to 2mbps. These settings can be found on the 'Wireless' Tab, under the 'Advanced Wireless Settings' sub-tab.
