What is the difference between Battle Royal and Free Battle?
There are two modes of competition when playing over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection:

  • Battle Royale: is a 4-Player competitive mode that pits you against other players from anywhere in the world.
  • Free Battle: is a 2-4 Player competitive mode that lets you fight against Friends or random players of similar skill.

How do I play with a Friend online in Star Fox Command?
To play against friends, you must first exchange Friend Codes. Please see the information in the section below for help on how to do this.

Once you have Friends Codes entered, select "Wi-Fi Battle Mode," from the main menu, and then "Free Battle." Tap "Yes" to connect to Nintendo WFC. Once connected, you will have the option to select the type of opponent you wish to compete against:

Select the "Friends" option; the DS will search for other players from your Friend Roster who are waiting. Once connected, the battle will begin.

How do I get a Friend Code in Star Fox Command?
In order to get a Friend Code, you must first connect to the Nintendo WFC service at least once with your Star Fox Command game.

Once you have connected at least once, you can access your Friend Code as follows:

  1. From the main screen, select "Wi-Fi Battle Mode."
  2. Select "Confirm Code."
  3. Your 10-digit Friend Code for Star Fox Command will be displayed.

How do I add a Friend Code to the Friends Roster in Star Fox Command?
From the main screen, select "Nintendo WFC," and then "Friend Code." Select "Register Friend Code," and then tap the numbers to enter your friend's 10-digit Friend Code.
