Important Note!
- Registering a friend is different than sending a friend request in that it requires users to enter each other's Nintendo Network ID.
- Registering a friend is the only way for users under 13 and to add a friend, as users under 13 cannot receive friend requests.
What to do:
- Press the HOME Button to open the HOME Menu.
- There are some applications/screens where the HOME Menu cannot be accessed.
- From the HOME Menu, tap "Friend List" on the left.
- Tap "Register Friend" or press the + Button.
- Enter in the Nintendo Network ID of the user you wish to register and tap "OK."
- When entering a Nintendo Network ID, you must enter it exactly as it was originally created. This includes using the same capitalization.
- The status displayed will be "Temporary Registration" until both users register each other's Nintendo Network ID.
