When not attached to the Nintendo GameCube, the Game Boy Player makes a rattling sound if shaken. This is normal. When the Game Boy Player is not attached to the Nintendo GameCube, the screws will rattle, but not fall out. This is the way the unit was designed, and no repairs are necessary.
