Nintendo DSi & Nintendo DSi XL - Delete Usage Formatting Procedure

There are two types of data that are tied to your specific system:

• The internal system memory that stores your photos, game save data, connection settings, etc.
• The Nintendo DSi account is tied to your specific system which contains the licenses for your downloaded games, remaining Nintendo DSi Points, and your account transaction history.

Nintendo DSi transactions are non-transferable and non-refundable. Returning your Nintendo DSi or Nintendo DSi XL system to the store or transferring to a third party without formatting your system memory or Nintendo DSi Shop account account could allow others to see information (e.g., photos, messages, transaction history) that is tied to your system. Please follow the steps below to delete any personal information. When the steps below are completed, the information erased is not recoverable.

You should format your Nintendo DSi Shop account first, then your system memory.
