Nintendo DSi & Nintendo DSi XL - Settings - Profile

The profile setting let's you adjust your user name, personal message, color, and birthday. See below for instructions on adjusting these settings:

User name
You can change your User Nickname, which is the name that appears in PictoChat and when sending and receiving content via DS Download Play.

1. On the Nintendo DSi Menu, use the stylus to select the Settings ("wrench") icon.
2. Select the right arrow to go to page 2, then select "Profile."
3. Select "User Nickname," then use the on-screen keyboard to enter your user name. Select "OK" to confirm.

Message
You can change your personalized message. This message can be seen when using PictoChat.

1. On the Nintendo DSi Menu, use the stylus to select the Settings ("wrench") icon.
2. Select the right arrow to go to page 2, then select "Profile."
3. Select "Message," then use the on-screen keyboard to enter your personal message. Select "OK" to confirm.

Color
You can change the color used on the Nintendo DSi Menu, PictoChat and in other places.

1. On the Nintendo DSi Menu, use the stylus to select the Settings ("wrench") icon.
2. Select the right arrow to go to page 2, then select "Profile."
3. Select "Color," then select the desired color. Select "OK" to confirm.

Birthday
You can set your birthday.

1. On the Nintendo DSi Menu, use the stylus to select the Settings icon.
2. Select the right arrow to go to page 2, then select "Profile."
3. Select "Birthday," then tap the up/down arrows to change the date. Select "OK" to confirm.
