Nintendo DSi & Nintendo DSi XL - Working with different lenses
The Nintendo DSi camera features 11 different lenses that let you play with your photos. For a description of what each lens does, select it from the list below.
There are two ways to use the Lens feature with the Nintendo DSi Camera:
- While taking a photo:
- On the Nintendo DSi Menu, use the stylus to select the Nintendo DSi Camera icon.
- Select "Camera," then select the desired lens from the icons at the top of the screen.
- Select "Start" to begin using the lens.
Note: photos taken with a lens other than "Normal" will not have the ability to be switch to "Normal" after the photo is taken.
- Using a Lens on a photo you've already taken and saved:
- On the Nintendo DSi Menu, use the stylus to select the Nintendo DSi Camera icon.
- Select "Album," and use the left/right slider to find the picture you would like to edit, and tap the picture to highlight it.
- Select "Edit" to display all the available lenses. Select the lens you would like to use to edit the picture.
- When finished, select "Complete." A new version of the original image will now be saved.
