Nintendo DSi & Nintendo DSi XL - Working with different lenses

The Nintendo DSi camera features 11 different lenses that let you play with your photos. For a description of what each lens does, select it from the list below.

There are two ways to use the Lens feature with the Nintendo DSi Camera:

• While taking a photo:
  1. On the Nintendo DSi Menu, use the stylus to select the Nintendo DSi Camera icon.
  2. Select "Camera," then select the desired lens from the icons at the top of the screen.
  3. Select "Start" to begin using the lens.

  Note: photos taken with a lens other than "Normal" will not have the ability to be switch to "Normal" after the photo is taken.

• Using a Lens on a photo you've already taken and saved:
  1. On the Nintendo DSi Menu, use the stylus to select the Nintendo DSi Camera icon.
  2. Select "Album," and use the left/right slider to find the picture you would like to edit, and tap the picture to highlight it.
  3. Select "Edit" to display all the available lenses. Select the lens you would like to use to edit the picture.
  4. When finished, select "Complete." A new version of the original image will now be saved.

Note: Photos taken with a lens other than "Normal" will not have the ability to be switched to "Normal" after it is taken. In addition, the "Normal" option will not be available in the "Edit" menu.
