  • Due to firmware updates and newer versions of this router, information on this page may not be the most current. We recommend that you ensure your router has the most current firmware update installed. Check with the router manufacturer for the most current information.

  • If you need help locating the settings described on this page, or have questions on how to adjust them, refer to the router's manual, the router's manufacturer, or the internet service provider that installed your router.

  • Important Note: The Wii is not compatible with the WPA2 (AES) security setting on this particular router. If you are using WPA2 (AES), you will need to change over to one of the router's other WPA settings in order to connect with the Wii. It has been our experience that these routers typically require other specific changes to be made in order to have a stable connection to our online services as well. After logging into the router's configuration utility, choose the "Tools" tab and then the "Firmware" button. Follow the instructions there to upgrade the firmware of your router. Once the firmware is upgraded, go to the "Advanced" tab and choose the "Home" and then the "Wireless" button to set the broadcast channel to 1 or 11 in order to create the most stable connection.
